No I was referring to the acrylic frag racks not top. I am wondering if I put a big one in there can I still put corals below it (will the light passing through be useable). Like high light frags on the rack and lower light frags below.

Im not really sure what floss is or how to use it.

I need to make a change to update the pics looks like the last one I posted :(

Not sure if I understand the question.

If it were just the rack alone yes, as I have seen others use the frag racks as tops. If you have corals in the rack holes, won't they keep the light from being able to filter to the lower lying ones?

Look up filter floss, its just a method of mechanical filtration to pull out detritus and other floating debris from your tank.

Looking forward to the new pics.

If u use floss or pads u gotta change them daily. I prefer not to use these " nitrate" traps. I got a frag rack acrylic and corals underneath get plenty of light.

Wait until you see whats coming next have some corals I still need to pickup.

I just finished the screen top and am painting it now it was a little tricky because it isn't square as it has to go around the skimmer.

The Frogspawns are looking nice!

I got a 4 headed one this weekend. Still hasn't opened up fully, but it should do soon. I think it's still acclimating to the LED's, they used to sit under some t5's.
