My New 29G

Hey guys!

I just upgraded to a 29g biocube. I want to remove the top with the black plastic all the way around. Anyone have any ideas or have done this? Any help will be appreciated.

I personally would not recommend removing the trim, as this probably braces the tank.

I have seen a few ways people have done them on the 29g today. When my kessel light comes in next week I will try it, and post up pics after its done.

Easiest way would have been to do it before setting it up but just take your time use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm the silicone. You can use a butter knife to slide between the glass and the trim to break the silicone. But deff take your time I have a jbj 24 rimless that was DIY and it holds up fine

i wouldnt remove it at all. it might be fine for a couple of months and then all of a sudden youll sprung a leak
