I will probably get flamed for this answer but I solved my hair alge problem after buying a cleaning crew from 'tampa bay saltwater' where I bought my live rock. Took them about a week to clean my 150 up, most of the critters are still alive and kicking 6 mos after I put them in. A cheaper...
Started diving in Missouri quarry's in 1963, mowed lawns to buy my first tank. Finally got certified in '74 with NAUI, advanced and photo courses in '87 or thereabouts. My new wife is excited about diving now, so will get her certified this summer if all goes well.
The air hole in my durso stand pipe is 1/8", works really great...about once every 2 months I poke a toothpick through the hole to make sure it is not being blocked by salt or anyother gunk.

thanks for the input

Thanks sharkey....I was hoping that was the situation....all the tanks inhab. seem pretty healthy at present. I have a frustrated clown, the host anemone took up residence on the side of a rock and at nite when the lights go out, the clown keeps falling to the bottom of the tank...can't seem to...
the other two anemones in the tank have not shown any problems and seem to be healthy. Frank and Stein both seem to like to hang out together. At least they don't fight.
