I have a 1/15hp CurrentUSA chiller on my Aquapod 24. The temp hit about 95 degrees outside yesterday and it kept my tank from frying. I also have a 150watt metal halide for lighting as well.
I am in the planning stages for a new tank and I'd rather not have to buy 2x metal halides in order to effectively light the tank. What I would like to do is remove the center brace from a standard AGA 65 gallon tank (36x18x24).
I am looking for other people who have done this successfully in...
I'm in. I had a 20gal long SPS tank with a 250 halide over it at one point. So I'm automatically the winner. Can't we just cancel this contest before I make people cry?
Good luck.
Man, I was pissed. I ordered live from Harbor Aquatics and it was not what I expected.
For some wierd reason it was totally covered in CORALLINE algae of varying shades and Joy was a pleasure to talk to while *I* handpicked my own rock.
This is not a place you want to go unless you want...
if you'd like to change the time it won't bother the fish nor corals in the least bit. Just maintain your current photoperiod once you have readjusted the 'lights on' time.
