Basically, the monitor displays the current pH level only. The controller will display pH level and allow you to set target levels to turn other devices on or off when the pH rises or falls past the targets.

I think the point is that most don't provide the right environment. Anemones certainly can be kept, but most of the people that buy them have no idea how to properly care for them.
