  1. Aquanetics

I believe that Aquanetics could do a much better job marketing their product. Aquanetics used to be THE name for aquarium chillers but for the last few years other companies have done a much better job of advertising their products and Aquanetics is now not well known to many. I have an...
  2. Need new PH meter

Basically, the monitor displays the current pH level only. The controller will display pH level and allow you to set target levels to turn other devices on or off when the pH rises or falls past the targets.

Send an e-mail to [email protected] and tell them your pump does not have the anodized screws. They'll get back to you promptly and send you the proper screws.

  5. The metal screws on my Mag 9's are scaring me...

E-mail Danner at [email protected] and they'll get back to you and send you the anodized screws that should have been in your Mag pump. I bought a pump that had the bare metal screws and they were very responsive.

  7. Who Uses Natu-Reef products

I've been using several Natureef products for the last 2 years and in my opinion they are quite good. In most cases they are more concentrated than some of the other brands so you get a bit more bang for the buck. I don't believe they are distributed nationally so that is probably why you don't...
  8. Chillers

I have an Aquanetics chiller and it works great. Keeps the tank within 1 degree of my set temp, it's quiet, and not too hard on the electric bill. They make inline or dropin models so you should be able to find one to suit your needs. Mine has been running for approx. 6 years with no probs so...
  9. Who has a chiller?

I've had an Aquanetics chiller for approx. 6 years on my tank. It's quiet, accurate and has been maintenance free for the entire time. If you have the money for a chiller I highly recommend one, your temp will be very stable and it takes that particular worry out of the equation. Info can be...

  12. Well, the current heat wave has destroyed my tank...

Well, my a/c went out this evening about 7pm. Being in Florida it's certainly no fun, the good news is that my chiller is doing just fine. I may be uncomfortable, but my animals are doing just fine.
  13. Help My Elegence Doesn't Look Good

Elegance corals used to be very hardy. It seems that for the last couple of years the animals that are imported do very poorly. Most of them don't last for more than a few months. I've not heard anyone come up with a real reason for this, but I've talked to many hobbyists and LFS owners who all...

  15. Anyone who likes Anemones, Please read this

I think the point is that most don't provide the right environment. Anemones certainly can be kept, but most of the people that buy them have no idea how to properly care for them.
