Nothing is attacking him, he is kind of pulling away from the edge of his shell. Around the outside. And he does not extend his mantle as much as he use to.
My Derasa clam seems to be shrinking and does not look good. Any ideas? I have had him for three months and he has been doing great. I dose the tank with kent's calcium and also phyto-plancton. The tank is a 90 gallon and is lit with metal halid lights and flourescents. He is located at the...
My maxima clam looks to be dying and I have noticed there is an aptasia connected to the side of the clam's shell. Does anyone know if the aptasia could possible be stining and killing the clam?
If you want to catch the tang, wait till the lights go off and then get out the flashlight. All you have to do is locate him and scoop. I use this method all the time when I need to remove a fish from my reef. It takes just minutes rather then hours.
