I would sugget taking a look at Hamilton Lighting. I have a 20L same size at your tank just not as deep. My fixture is 24" and my fixture covers the entire tank with no dark areas. http://www.hamiltontechnology.com
I personally have never had the T5's but a friend of mine does. He said he is still not sure which he likes better VHO or T5. From what I seen the T5 do have a bit more intensity with less wattage, and the look really good. As Shane said they are quite a bit smaller also.

Got it from my local shop but you can purchase right from Hamilton. The fixture is not listed on their website so you have to call them and have them build it. Check them out. http://www.hamiltontechnology.com

Sorry to bust in on your post Hammer-Head but Len, would you also suggest these skimmers for a 20g. I too am looking for a really good skimmer. Price is not an issue here.
HI all. I just found a nice article on the ETS skimmers. Incase anyone is interested here is the address.

Thanks for the input all.
Hello. Anyone ever used this skimmer. Just picked one up. I was wondering what you though of this skimmer for a 75g reef. All thoughts and comments please. Thanks in advance.
In your case the bubbles will not harm the corals. But if these bubbles were to stay there you would have a chance of hurting the corals. Where the bubbles sit the will create a dry area on the coral. (bad) So getting rid of the bubbles was a good thing you did. As for running the pump dry...
