Need Help with ID snail looking thing

Hi all. Need some help with this one. Looks like a snail from the bottom side, but has a funny "sheet" over the top of it. Very strange looking.

Looks like a nudibranch or possibly a limpet

I believe it is an Elephant Snail, Scutus antipodes.Some people call it a black slit snail.They are ok for your tank,graze on alges,and are harmless.HTH
