  1. Velocity Titanium Pumps

I have a T3 but for only about 3 months. I know of others that have had the pump for several years without a problem. So far I love it. It is absolutely silent! There was some concern by others that it put alot of heat into the system but I have not noticed this (again, I have only had this...

  4. Ideal Reef Fish

Great replies. It looks like the Clowns and the Tangs are in the lead. Anyone have a Maroon Clown? I have heard that they are the most aggressive of the clown family and that the Clarkii clowns are the most passive. I have a large tomato and a false percula (tank raised). I have a Yellow...
  5. Ideal Reef Fish

Thanks for your reply. I have also found the Clowns to be a pretty good reef fish however, they can seem to become pretty territorial and chase some of the others around. I have a 3" tomato clown from Figi which is just beautiful but he is very aggressive. He has not take up in my large...

  8. sump pump hose

Just finished plumbing my new tank. I did alot of research and decided on flexible PVC pipe. The advantages are flexibility and will interface with any pvc fitting of the same diameter. You can get it at Home Depot or Lowes.
  9. where can I buy bulkheads?

Savko is the best. They are good prices too. I happen to live close by their store and they have everything instock. Just decide what size you need and they will probably have them.
  10. Updated "sps progress" page on my website, check o

Slojmn1: Nice pics! I was crusing your website and looking at your sump design... Do you have your tubing from your overflows emptying into some type of jar submerged in the sump? I noticed on your effluent drip attachment that the tank drain line appears to be entering a jar of some sort. I...

I have built my Stockman silencer for my AGA overflow. I have installed the plastic airline valve at the top of the pipe. My problem is that the valve hisses loudly. Any suggestions on silencing the silencer? Also, What have you done to silence the overflow return in the sump?
  13. Silencing the silencer (Stockman)

I have built my Stockman silencer for my AGA overflow. I have installed the plastic airline valve at the top of the pipe. My problem is that the valve hisses loudly. Any suggestions on silencing the silencer? Also I get alot of bubbling in my sump. I am using a Titanium T3 pump (850gph)...
  14. Who has drilled their AGA overflow grill?

How did you do it? What size did you make them and how much did it increase your flow?
  15. Sump for a 92g Corner Bowfront

I will be using a velocity T3 (800gph @ 3ft head) since the overflow will only apparantly handle about 700. As far as the sump goes, the one that I got (23"x10"x12") is too small to fit the skimmer in. I need to workout something with the sump... Any suggestions?
