    wow, I'm going to have to rethink what I plan on buying for my tank. I had been leaning towards the Vortechs but I really dont like investing that much money in pumps to possibly have them fail in the first year. I might just drill a few holes in the back and do a closed loop instead.

    phosban reactors work really well in general, I keep two of them on hand to run when needed. My only complaint about the product is the O ring in the lid can get pinched and lead to leaks
