I'm using the True atinic on my tank and i really like the look. As for the Realibility issue, i have noticed that they don't last quite as long as the 10ks that i have got. between the 2 that i have they are averaging about 9-10 months then they get really dim.

My Gold stripe Maroon has been through hell and back so i'm going with him :) since i got him a nice carpet to live in he's becoming quite the bully. hehehe

I've had my prizm for just over a year now and i don't have any probs at all. It pulls out some pretty nasty stuff. I've been waiting for the upgrade kit to come out for a few months now. Guess i'll have to search around for a store now :)

thanks for all the suggestions. I think i'm going to go with the pulling them one, it seems the easiest next to just letting them be. i don't think i have the nerve to blend one of the poor little guys up, seems cruel and inhumane !!! who ever was the first to try that must have been really...

2. slicing them like you would a pie...
it seems to me like the first is the best practice because it is more...
ok lets try this again.
the biggest i've set up in an upstairs has been a 180. make sure it is put perpendicular to the floor joists. and the main reason ppl can do water beds is because the weight is spread over a greater area.

A very interesting thread over at reef central discussing this topic. Sounds like it might be worth looking into.
