I would leave some for seeding and give the rest a good cleaning and reuse. Less impact on the environment. JMO

Based on your tank pictures you want to keep sps corals. They need light so MH's are the best bet. However if your trying to keep the temp down for the summer T5's will work.

Ballast needs to be replaced. Thanks to everyone who helped me with this.

noob - I'm running 4 36" bulbs no extension no heat sink ballast is under the tank. ming- when I turn the power on 3 bulbs come on and shut right off.

My T-5 lights were working yesterday and today they won't come on. They are run off an Icecap 660 balast. any ideas? Thanks.
