  1. Dying Snail?

I have a Turbo that is moving real slow and has been for a couple of weeks. He moves from one spot on the glass near the bottom, to a spot on the sand near the glass. I had a couple of hermits do the same thing in this same corner in the tank. I have good circulation on the whole 55 gal...
  2. Anyone in Kansas

Yo, I'm in Lawrence. Welcome to... nothingness. Not a reefer, but I can get you some. Just kidding. Whats up with that store? I didn't know about that. You know the name or address?
  3. MUST MOVE 55 GALLON REEF

If you can keep as much of the water as possible. Last summer I moved my 55 FOWLR and will be doing this again. I used three 18 gal rubbermaids filled about half way. More then that and you get spillage and its hard for the rubber to keep its shape when you lift it. I also used two 5 gal...

  5. New Pump for my Remora

I knew that the Mag 3 was good for the Pro, but I have the non-pro. I just don't want too much pump and need a new collection cup or have it explode or something. Thanks tho, my thoughts exactly on might as well get the better pump.
  6. New Pump for my Remora

I currently have a Mj1200 on my Remora, but I let it run dry for about 3 days. It still works, but, well actually it dosen't. So should I just get another 1200 or should I think about a Mag3 or some other pump? Thanks matt

I had a problem with a Brittle star hitch hicker not getting enough to eat. Found Formula 1. Sinks after a min or two. May be too much food for only 2 shrimp though.
  9. Just a little FYI

All hydrometers are dependant on temperature, but most that are designed for aquariums are calibrated between 70 and 80 *F
  10. My 14" Attack Brittle Star

The color in 7 and 8 are with only the flash and the room light on. The rest are with the hood light on and the flash off. I don't know what kind it is, but I'm pretty sure its a green. If you look at "starbait" it's a pic of the star eating my last ocellarus(sp). LordNikon you suck ohh I...
  11. My 14" Attack Brittle Star

I've read that brittle stars can get pretty big, but I think I have one of the largest specimens. I got this guy not too long ago in some liverock. My theory is that he couldn't be caught out of his hole by the staff at petco so everynight he would come out to dine on the tasty morsels in an...
  12. Supermarket Shrimp for my Brittle Star

All I have is a 14" or larger brittle star. He has quite the tast for flesh. Right now I try to give him chunks of frozen brine shrimp. The problem is that half the shrimp melts and floats off. I know this can't be good for the water so I'm looking for something with larger chunks. Can I...
