I currently have a Mj1200 on my Remora, but I let it run dry for about 3 days. It still works, but, well actually it dosen't.

So should I just get another 1200 or should I think about a Mag3 or some other pump?

Thanks
matt

If you have to buy a pump anyway buy the better pump. I went with a Mag on my Remora Pro when I replaced the Rio that came with it.

Its money well spent

Go with the Mag 3. I use one on my Remora Pro which orginally came with the RIO pump. I switched to the Mag once I realized the RIO was crap. No problems with the Mag.

I knew that the Mag 3 was good for the Pro, but I have the non-pro.

I just don't want too much pump and need a new collection cup or have it explode or something.

Thanks tho, my thoughts exactly on might as well get the better pump.

I had considered it at one time, but spoke to the Aqua C people and they said a stronger pump would screw with the spray injector's effectiveness.

OK, so I also need a pump for a remora non-pro. Is mag3 too big? Anybody tried that?

I would think it to powerful as the non pro is a good bit smaller.

I would try the mag if I had one and see what happens.
