I felt the same in regards to a shallow sand bed. I am still waiting for those Tropic Eden Reefflakes from PA... May just get some Miniflakes for now.

I caught one that is 1" wide and at least 18" long from my tank before. Mine was eating my coral. I took some night video to catch it in the act, otherwise I still wouldn't know it was the cause of my trouble.
