saw reviews where the sides of the last chamber of that sump was a bit flimsy if you can maybe you'd want to strengthen it up

if you have tried everything else wit no results try mixing up some new water in a bucket add the skimmer to it and see if it works if it does maybe then you have to do some water changes in yur display tank

what size are you looking to get how much space do you have how much corals do you want to put in it..................

the diagram plus the video should be enough maybe you have it too high or maybe too low play around with it .......................

did you add anything to the tank sometimes when I top off the water to the tank the skimmer stops producing foam.............................

It'll help if u put the length of the tank

as long as it's live rock you can add it to the tank but you have to do it slowly meaning small quantities at a time,it's boxed so I would rinse it off with some reef water before adding it to the tank.......................
