  2. Friend or Foe

Oh its definitely a bristle/fire worm. They are harmless to corals but lots of people get stung by them when moving rocks around, and certainly being an ugly worm does not help to make them a beloved animal, but they're fine in your tank (i.e. they don't eat corals or fish). So they're cool right?

Nice tank! What sort of automation system are you building? Are you using grafana for monitoring?

  7. Chaeto macroalgae light

Definitely a low K light (below 7k). I think some of the chaeto lights are actually red-heavy.

    Nice build!
  10. Has anyone had the experience of suffering losses due to improper lighting in the aquarium?

Absolutely, too much light can kill corals. Both intensity and photoperiod.
  11. Nudi?

Yes it looks like a berghia but hard to tell.
  12. sps dying

    Post the FTS please.
  13. Reef Page

Cool! Of course you can post your social links, as long as it's not a store/shop.
  14. Coral acclimation

I don't know why you would acclimate with fresh made water, it's just adding a second stressing event IMO. You want to get the coral used to your tank levels, not some "ideal" fresh-made level. If you are talking about a freshwater dip (i.e. no salt), that sort of depends on what pests you are...
