Nitrate problem, help.....
I have a 40g Breeder(saltwater), I have about 12 fishes, small fishes(dammsel, chromis), when I tested for the nitrate last time was 80mpp, close to 160mpp, I did about 50% water change, I cleaned the filters, but five day later the Nitrate hasn't changed, still high, but fiches are doing great and eating normal, two day ago I installed a HOB remona skimmer, but no luck, what else should I do, how long it take for nitrate to go down(I have about 2" of live sand, 40lb live rock, one Emperor 350 filter, and one aqua clear 70, tank has been set more than a year) please help
