I was thinking of 1 Actinic blue 1 50/50 and 2 whites Do the actinic go bad (loose the right spectrum) like the whites or are they just for color.

Ok I have a 54 corner with 4 24" vho bulbs A mixture of brains and soft corals and it's time to replace bulbs. What combination would you put in and why. and no I'm not going to make a change to another kind of light right now.

Don't everyone jump in at once. IceCap appears to be the techno leader but they are both priced similar in new retail. However this ReefFanatic 175 is only $60 but not from a retailer. Further more the reeffanttic is 175watt and for $115 I can get a 250 watt ice cap. Im guessing on the 55...

Ok I'm gonna add MH to my tank. Anyone care to share an opinion between these two ballast manufactures. ICE CAP or Reef FANATIC. Price wise I can get a reef fanatic+bulb+etc for the price of the ICE CAP ballast. But currently I"m running ICE CAP VHO and like the low heat etc.

Crawfish season will be here in shortly who's gonna send me a couple sacks of them mud bugs. I miss the food and the fishin!

Actually today a distiller using stainless steel boiling pot and condensing coil can be purchased new for $100. You don't want aluminum either! Whoops had a question mark where there should have been an exlcamation mark.

Would a water distiller fix his phosphate problem.
