im no expert, but to keep them as adults is a no no, as babies is ok, ive kept fish that can get way over a foot as babies in a 30, but temporary isnt always good, as you get attached to the little buggers and dont wanna let em go :? :roll:
a maroon would be fine in there as they arent big swimmers, but as always, you want the best for them, so i usually recommend 30's but a 12 would be fine well, of course unless you want it knocking over stuff when its large
ive been doing this for mos. instead of doing water changes id put about a gallon of my nano's water and put it in the main and put a gal of the mains in my nano
i'd do that every few days, so it gets all of the supplements and benefits, oh and my nano is roughly 5 gal and my main 60
