Just make sure the return plumbing is upsized to 1" or more. The 3/4" outlet is misleading. If you use it you will get very reduced performanceu from the Mag 9.

Sounds like it could be hard to secure without looking ugly and most importantly, could melt under metal halide lighting. Why not just lower the water level a bit? I would think a lower water level is the best solution for jumpers.

I've heard that glass-on-glass bonds much better than acrylic on glass. Is that true or can I use acrylic for baffles in glass tank sump?
