i will try to get some better pix as soon as i can... as far as they way this guy looks thats the way he was when i got him and he hasnt changed a bit other then turning all black and then back again.... dont have any fins or anything missing sooo... he is a lil strange looking though 8O

well my cousin who works 4 florida fish and wildlife came by today and i showed him these lil guys and he is almost certian that they r juvie spadefish.... as far as it being illegal he said that there is no problem w/ me catchin them and keeping them in my tanks...now if it was a baby redfish...

:oops: sorry i guess that would of helped huh?lol they were caught at fort myers beach at low tide off a sand bar...

hope u guys dont mind :oops: hes like white/ sliver in the face and then the rest of him is black or if he decides to hang out w/ the other fish he turns solid black... ive never seen one of these lil guys b4... hes differnt then the other fish i posted earlier even though the pix isnt the...

yea i know that they get pretty big. :D we have caught them fishing.. but hes in a 55 gallon right now... i have all kinds of things in the tank that he can eat like baby crabs and shrimp but i havent seen him touch any of those..hes chased them around a bit but didnt eat them :? i only seen...

does anyone here have any lookdown fish (selene vomer)?? i just caught a baby one for my tank and was looking for some info on them?

does anyone know where to catch sea urchins in the fort myers/bonita/naples and matlacha area? i havent seen any in a long time...

k thanks i dont get to go that way very often but the next time i do ill be sure to check that out... as far as grass beds ive been looking but so far havent been able to find any anywhere... :cry: and wearing shoes.. heck yea if i cant see the bottem and its the grass flats w/ the nasty mucky...

anyone in florida around the fort myers/naples/bonita/matlacha area know where to catch sea urchins? i used to see them eveywhere and now they are no where to be found....

fort myers shores...i havent been to the keys in forever but am planing on going here in the next few months.. i cant wait.. i just got back from fort walton beach but didnt find to many live things since Dennis had came though...

thank you... yes i make sure everything i have is legal.... my sis in law works 4 the county and my cousin is a fish and wildlife deputy soooo i better make sure everythings legal!!!!!!!!!! :D at certian beaches around here u are not allowed to take anything live other then when u r fishing but...
