What weren't you fond of with the MRC skimmer?

I'm running a large MRC recirculating skimmer and recently hooked up 2 of 3 drains to feed the skimmer. It appears to me that it is pulling out more than when it was being fed from the 100gal. stock tank sump.

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. A new MR-2 without the quick release upgraded and ozone port with a Gen-X 55 is $459 I believe new via package deals from MRC. I run an MR-1 and MR-2 and love them both. I would say go for it!

I believe that is how some people do it. Check with Andy at MRC, I think he has a 'T' that you put in there somewhere and hook your ozone up to that. What pump are you using on the MR-1?

If you have a 210 AGA, please post some pics and information about your set-up. I will be setting up a 210 AGA with megaflows in about a month and would love to see what others have done with there 210's.

Been using IO here for 3 years. Alot of people have been reporting problems when switching to Oceanic. Not sure why, but it is still a pretty new salt that isn't time tested. Sticking with IO, I see no need to switch. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

There are a couple of triggers that are 'relativly reef safe'. We have a bluejaw trigger and it's been a great fish. Doesn't bother anything and it's cool as heck.
