    A friend of mine has one of these and it split. He gave me the split and it seems to be doing ok. It moves alittle once in a while. But my question is even after a month it seems as though it still hasn't developed it's filter feeding "arms". Does this take awhile or is something wrong?

    What is this red thing?

    It just sort of started growing one day. It's red and waves in the current. For the most part it is soft, flat, and thin and seems to be "branching" out now. It reminders me of lichen off of an old tree. Any ideas? Thx

    Well I'd start at your LFS. There has been a huge influx of these critters lately. If they don't have one ask if they can get one. Wholesalers have been flooded with them at least where I live anyway. If not I know ffexpress.com did have them but it appears that they only have green now.
