Hi all, I am looking for a BC29 hood that I can strip and do a led mod. I've seen them for sale here before but it's been a while. Hoping to get lucky this time.

*Disregard this probably should be in the wtb/sale section.
I did this also on my 55. I did it during a water change so the tank would be about a hundred pounds lighter while took a small hacksaw a cut the staple attachment on the brace. Now I remove the brace when I need to work on the sump.

SEN 700. They are just as good as everything else out there but 1/2 the cost. I have been using the sen 300 and 700 on two of my skimmers for years with no problems.
I have 2 tanks w/sump skimmers, 3 tanks w/hob skimmers and 1 tank w/no skimmer. The sump skimmers with the pump with higher water pressure produce more product ime. The hob skimmers with the small needlewheel pumps work ok but the skimmate appears more watery.
If you decide to keep it. www.cciaquarium.com or http://elmersaquarium.com/ I brought my frame from Elmers for my 55g when the center brace cracked. They didn't have my size listed but a phone call got what I wanted.
With a 75gpd membrane you should get 3.1 gallons of water per hour. Take your pure water hose and put it in a 5gal bucket and time it. Once you're set up run your pure water line to a contaner with a float switch or a tank so you have water ready when needed.
