What is the best silent return pump?

So went away fro 2 nights came home to my 3 month old mag 7 locked up ! (after taking apart and cleaning it worked again) Thank god it must have happened not too long b4 I got home so far it seems I've dodged a bullet Havnt lost anything ! This is the 2nd mag drive pump I've had do this I'm done with them

What is the best / most reliable 700gph return pump avail??

I use an ehiem 1262 with rubber feet, and its dead silent...I have to touch it to feel if its running.

Its rated at 900@0 head, but at 4 feet with a manifold and plumbing i am thinking about 450gph. its never locked up!

Eheims haven't been super quiet in my experience. Not loud, but not silent either.

Try Tunze or ATB. The Marineland Utility Return Pump is a cheaper option that's been reliable and very quiet for me, and I've used 3 of them.

SEN 700. They are just as good as everything else out there but 1/2 the cost. I have been using the sen 300 and 700 on two of my skimmers for years with no problems.
