Weird help!!

Soo ive had my 20 gallon set up since the begining of september and my tanks bine great stocking just a domino,chocolate chip star, snails and recently added peppermint shrimp... Sine 2 weeks ago i havent bine seeing any critters in my tank at night or even if i cut on lights in the middle of the night.. Hellllpppp please

What type of snails did you add? There are a couple of species that are being sold dirt cheap that claim the are reef safe but really aren't.

Well they're not safe around your corals.

What kinds of critters aren't you noticing?

To bad i dont have any if that.. (dont have correct lighting) and its the little planktons i think their calked their used to be 100s everytime i turned my lights on and little worm looking things

Probably copepods? google it...

What are your parameters? Possible your fish is eating them..I had a clown that ate copepods..

yea thats what they are thanks>>> and noo my fish isnt eating them hes picki he only eats the flakes and my water perimeters are all good

Hey girlfriend if u need a bag of live sand I have one 20lbs to give..I just ordered too much of the stuff...Us Bronx Reef need to look out for each other . Good luck with your tank.

yep always had em and good as in ph=8.4 ammonia= 0ppm nitrite=0ppm and nitrate 0 but climbs .. Am i right?

yes thats good.. whats your salinity? and how often to you top off the water when it evaporates? soemtimes the large salinity swing can cause problems too.. what type of water are you using? ro?
