Acan polyp no skeleton

This guy popped off it ‘s skeleton because of an alk swing. I brought it home to try to save it since my acans are doing great in my system. In the 3 weeks that i’ve had it, I have seen growth as far as polyp size and it greedily takes food every time I feed.

Has anyone ever had any success getting an acan to regrow it’s skeleton after bailing?

It propagated itself due to the alk swing/stress. I've seen it happen as well and have been able to feed for a few weeks too. But eventually it just kinda disappears or shrivels up. I bet under the ideal conditions it would grow a skeleton again...i imagine its one of the ways they propagate in nature. Good luck!

Little guy is still doing well. It’s still eating well and looks like its growing.
