My Frogspawn is budding like crazy now.

In the back of my mind I seem to recall hearing that this is a sign of stress.

Should I ignore the back of my mind?

its kinda weird, but my bta always splits when it has been under a little more than normal stress for some reason. I think its a reaction of, "i may perish, so i better reproduce to ensure survival!"

It is true of plants.

The best way to get many of them to bloom is to convince them that they are going to die soon.

I've heard it both ways LOL . Clears that right up, eh? Mine always reproduced regardless of how the rest of the tank went.
