something is happening to my tank, all the "skeletons" of my LPS are deteriorating from the inside out. some will pretty much crumble when you touch them. Is there a problem im not seeing, or could it be some type of critter munching on them?

element deficiency? What is your Ca at? pH, Alk? etc... Tis rare for skeletons to "disolve, unless there is a pH problem, and or other deficiencies in trace elements.

i am thinking some sort of element deficiency too, maybe strontium or calcium. i have also read about bacteria that eat away at the tissue and makes it "slough" off the skeleton but i think this is rtn. there is also algae that eats away the skeleton but you should be able to see it, it is green.
