Frogspawn trouble

Recently bought 2 frogspawn about a week and a half ago. Came out of the same tank in the store and were right next to each other and the same size. I put them in a 14 bio cube with a par38 bulb above it. Started them off on the bottom and within a couple of hours one opened up huge, while the other barely came out. It's been over a week and still nothing and suggestions on what to do?

Frogspawn acts weird when it comes to flow. I've had frogspawns that love being blasted with flow , while others like dead spots.

Hmm okay I'll try putting it in different flow areas see what happens with that hopefully I get some good results thanks

Agreed I have 2 pieces 1 with 3 heads and another that was fragged from the same colony. If I do not place them in a area that has very very little flow and medium to high light they will not open fully.
I had them on my sand bed but recently due to my anemone moving I placed them in my rock in the lower middle area of my display and wow they opened really big.
Just a thought. ..
