Hey everyone , quick question I have decided to go full LPS in my tank NO Sps I've been running a bio pellet reactor, and honestly it does keep my phosphates at 0 , But so did my gfo, I guess what I'm asking is , do I really need to use this expensive bio pellet reactor for just LPS.? My last tank I didn't use it at with both LPS and Sps and felt like my tank did better. Thanks for the help.

If your GFO is doing the job and you are happy with the way everything looks... then there is no need for it.
Besides all else, are you really willing to sacrifice any possible problems that may arise with switching over to biopellets?

He has been running pellets, I think that the question is should he take it off line...

IMO not sure I would just take it off-line. Let it run and eventually run out of pellets. Then it will take the system down off it slowly. I am not a fan of shocking a system.
