Good LFS in nassau area

hey everyone, ive been to all the local places by my house (westbury, hicksville, carlpalce) but i want more verity! anyone recommend any good ones. for corals mainly but overall lfs.

+1 aquarium village is the best in Nassau without question and in my opinion Long Island. Their customer service and know how is top notch

Tropical Island is 100% worth the drive from Nassau. Just getting the opportunity to see the 220 gallon reef in the front of the store is worth it alone, not to mention typically very healthy fish and an excellent coral selection.

Aquarium Village is also great. Those are really the only two stores I frequent on LI.

I think someone may need to do their research and visit a lot of other stores, especially the 2 mentioned in the thread and then return to fishtown to maybe see how awful that store can be.

OK so I went to aquarium village yesterday and you were absolutely right. Fish town is a dump compared to aquarium village.

There is also Total Aquariums on Sunrise Hwy near Lynbrook.

Try total aquarium ist in lynbrook they have a web site, www.totalaquarium.com I haven't go yet. Also pet warehouse lol used to be aquarium adventure they went out of business know pet warehouse has tanken over look good bin there once. And fish looked good but I can't be shore of myself cause I'm not experienced with saltwater fish yet. But as for me long island is good place for lfs Manhattan aquarium is, good but train is a way to go there city parking is a pain ticket if you don't watch the street signs, as for Yonkers is far for me plus tolls I feel that money can go tords fish and gas. Lamo I'm new starting hobby so I'm probably don't know what's good.

Aquarium village is on old country rd in garden city across the street from Best Buy. Tropical island is on 231 south of the 495 on the right side of the rd. Sorry i dont know the exact addresses

Actually it's not. It's east of there by about 1/2 mile across from the Cheesecake Factory and old Fortunoff.
