Week 8 Lecture and Quiz Posted

James is off galavanting around Belize (lucky bugger), so I've uploaded the lecture and quiz in Rich Text Format, as I don't have a way to encode a .pdf. If anyone has any problems viewing the files, please let me know, and I'll try to work something out for you.

Hi Chucker: I printed out the lecture but for some reason, pages 12 and 13 just print over themselves. Any ideas? Ray

Ray, I had a similar problem when viewing the lecture with Word 2002, but had no issues when using WordPad.

In point of order... The lecture in question is lecture 9. And it is officially "posted" for next week (in other words, there will not be a discussion this Sunday...

hi--what do I have to do to print the last couple pages?? I am using Microsoft Word and Windows 98.

Hi,

Try using the Word Pad in the Accessories section of Win98. Click Programs, Accessories, Word Pad to Open Word Pad. Then Open the file, and print it.

If it doesn't go, wait until James is back in a couple of days and badger him to post it in pdf.

Hi: The figures are great to view in wordpad but on printing , only the text prints out.. no figures. one step closer! Ray
