Rob,

I would recommend buying The Reef Aquarium Volume Two book, as well as utilizing discussion boards and those html sites specified in this thread. Read, study, read and study before making any purchases. As stated before there is a lot of published information in books and on the i-net that is now contradicting or just plain wrong. Thats why its nice to have a place such as www.reefs.org nothing wrong with asking fellow hobbist for information, Lord knows I use this board alot, but having a reference book handy sure helps out alot.

Rob,
I have found severals sites which match what you are looking for. Go to my links page and look under corals and reference. You will find alot of helpful information. Most of these pages only cover specific types of corals and are not general guides.

my reason for being here is that when someone ask's a question (most) everyone will reply with the way they have been doing it. that way you get to see a variety of ways to do it.
i read way more posts than i post, there is some good Q&A on this board.
alot of these people that give info can be checked out at websites to show there tank and how well it is. you can tell a tank that has some age to it and is running fantastic.
