Kudos to Kevin for making them available to anyone who wants to buy them.

This a perfect opportunity for someone who wants to breed these in the US, and make them more available to the hobby. Unlike some of the other expensive fish that just become trophies in someone's tank, this can breed and help propagate the species without any further wild collection.

Not true and a flawed rumor at that. The Aussies are pretty intense with their protected areas.

Export and Landed US wholesale are different Mary and you know this :lol: And we're talking two I know where he got them (stateside), what the asking price was and for two they are pulling about the same profit as they would on a clarion. Nothing truly unreal or outrageous like some of the profit pulled on others in Asia

Any idea why he keeps them in "very low" copper? Copper is always hard on a fish, but when it is is low, it ain't hard on parasites.

Once someone breeds the crap out of them (someone will) they will be worth nothing because they aren't that attractive. Really only the first one to market in quantity is going to do well, and only for a limited time... this isn't a fish the masses are ever going to buy in large #'s. In a few years it will be another 4.99 tank raised clown.
