Help Identify this Zoa

Hey guys I need some help identifiying these.... My buddy has quite a few of them. They look like a type of hornet but I am not sure. Zoa nuts please help...:splitspin Sorry for the not so perfect pic.

Thane, i just saw this post. I noticed I have the same zoa, I dont think theres an official name for this zoa.. so I call it the ring.

red hornets ? that zoa has been around for awhile, i had a colony back when i started. funny ebay guys list them more rare then ph's

Those look similar, but I don't think it's the red hornet. I've seen these in person. The lfs in my area has a colony of this red hornet zoa. The most distinguish characteristic of the red hornet is the red ring and the middle mouth is bright white. The tenticle colors alternate orange and purple.
