id clowns!!

i got 2 small perc clowns, and i cant tell whether they are male or female. they hang together a lot, and it doesnt look like they are fighting. plus they are both the same size.

They are hermaphroditic but if they are a pair, the female will eventually be bigger.

how long does the size change take, the fish are hanging around together a lot but the size isnt changing and i have had them for a while

if both get along, thats good sign, one will outgrow the other one and become female. The other one will turn male.

when you get the pair, try to get one small, one much bigger, it save you a lot of time pairing them, if they're the same size, you have a long way to go until you see a size change.
