Painted Trunticate??

Hey Guys
There are these pale lime green things scattered all over my live rock (75 gallon tank) and most of them (98%) have what looks like a clear tube or straw coming out of it. My guess is some kind of sponge (painted trunticate) but I'm not sure. What do you guys think. Sorry no pictures .Painted Tunicate

I have those as well, some of the them are lime green and others are white. It's some sort of sponge, not sure which one. They seem to be concentrated in the shaded areas of the tank. My back wall, behind the rocks and shaded from the light, is covered in them. I occasionally cut them away from the corals when they get to close. I guess they aid in filtration.
