id help please

i dont know what this fish it but i got a few fish today that were washed up here in the gulf stream and i cant seem to id this thing

thanks bro theres a few other fish that this guy gave to me i dont know what im going to do with them but one of them is driving me crazy its tapping on the glass it sounds like a woodpecker.

That's not a tropical fish. That is a local species of cusk eel

Why would I go over the edge. I think everyone should go out, get some fish put them in their tank and then find out what they are and the requirements for keeping them:givebeer:

LOL Definitely not a smart move at all. For some reason I think the local cusk eels give off an electric shock I'll double check that though.

I was wrong. It is not harmful. The exact species is striped cusk eel (Ophidion marginatum)
