Disgusting? They're great - you just see the long tentacles reaching out over the sand bed and groping for food. They're excellent detrivores and pretty much incapable of harming anything.

Oh, I think these things are actually referred to as 'medusa worms'. But then, there're a -lot- of different critters that get called 'spaghetti worms'.
