Hello i noticed this growing on my rock the other day and thought it was coraline .. whoops !

Okay so now i'm wondering if it is red slime, red hair algae, red turf algae, or some other form of red macroalgae... I actually kind of like the way it looks (it is a deeper red than the picture shows) so i'm hopiung it's something not bad for the tank. it feels the same way green algae does. a little slimy ...(uh oh ...) but at the same time it is stringy and strands sway in the water with the current. maybe it is red hairline algae? Eitehrway is it really really bad to leave it in the tank? and if so should i try rubbing it off? i do like the way it looks so i hope it's nothing bad. Thanks !
