Im lost what is this?

I found this in the corner of my tank and its been there for a couple days. I was not sure what it is so i took it and put it in a separate tank so i can watch it better.

Any ideas?

Do you have a seahare or nudibranch?

I have a sea hare and after thinking about that its sea hare eggs.

Should i put them back in the main tank? Or should i just let them stay where they are?

If you exposed them to air I'd keep them out of the tank. If not, put them back and see what happens. I've never had any luck with the eggs myself but you never know.

I did not allow them to get any air. I hope they make it if not there will be food for the fish once they hatch.

man that's yucky looking. never seen one in person before. how big is it?

well the clump is prob 3" long and 2 wide and around 1" thick

how big is the seahare that thing came out off???? that's pretty darn big. i had seahare for several months (unfortunalely one fine day it decided to play chicken with the power head and lost) and never saw anything like it.

The seahare is huge.

5-6" long

Well nothing really yet. The eggs are in their own tank right now.

Im waiting to see when they hatch. And if the babies will make it.

Well not really much to update besides there was another batch laid in the tank. The 1st batch is still in a separate tank but no hatching yet.
