When I scraped the glass behind my overflow to look for my missing wrasses, in addition to the wrasse, I found this.
Is that an aptasia? I have never seen one so big and I dont have any in my display since I have peppermints. For reference size, the oral disc is about 2" across and the tentacles are about 4" tip to tip.
I also found this towards the bottom. At first I thought it was snail egg cluster since they go back there often but it hasn't changed in two weeks and it seems to have some openings. It is a sponge ? There seem to be smaller ones dotting the rest of the overflow box but none in the display or 'fuge that I've found. Its about 3-4" across.
