Please help identify

Hi all, This morning I noticed somthing unusual in my tank. It was a little thicker than an antenae of a cleaner shrimp but was striped kinda like the arm of a serpant star. It's living in a hole in a rock and really har d to get a picture, but I'll try when I see it again. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it is?

probably little star fish, forget the names of them, lol and helps if you use a different font makes it easier to read
