ID of slim like stuff on glass

I came home and saw this on the glass. Last night there was something smaller.. thought it might of been a snail that did it.. this one is like 10x the size

As its in a wave pattern probably nassarius snail eggs.

I take it there is little hope to keep them alive if they are eggs?

Could happen. Leave them alone. They will most likely become fish food
