I found this molted shell a little while ago when my lights came on. I think it's a xanthid crab but i'm not 100% positive. Shell is about an inch across.

Thanks guys, i kinda figured that. I've had the tank running over a year now and this is the first evidence i've seen of a crab. I guess i'm going crab fishing tonight. Any tips on how to get this thing out in the open??

you can try that cutting the top 1/3rd of a soda bottle off and flipping it into the rest of the bottle thing, so the crab can get in and not back out. I dont remember exactly how to make it, but Im sure its on here somewhere in the DIY section.
