I have alot of green algae growiing on the sides of my tank but I noticed little white what looks like tiny bugs eating it. There are hundreds of them. Should I worry ?

Hi...no you should not, those are probably amphipodes, copepodes that feed on such algae and their presence is a sign of good system health or in the way of that.
Do you have photographs to post here, so that we may better help you?
