The round thing doesnt seem to move, but while I was inspecting, I figured Id see what it is.

The red/orange/pink also has orange on the bottom of the shell aswell.

I saw a thread a few days ago that showed snails with red bottoms...I just have no idea where it would be.

Any Ideas on these?

Hi rookie07 ;-)

This is quite difficult but the cowry could be a Cypraea interrupta or Cypraea curica blaesa??...well its beautiful...however please do keep an eye on it since many Cypraea are carnivorous and feed on coral polyps among other things. Personally I do have three cowries, two species, and I know they can do it, but so far nothing ever happened and they are happy eating algae.
Concerning the round thing, it could be a snail protection since you write it doesn't move....still its difficult to identify, so could you please take and post some more photographs taken from several angles and the same also for the Cowry ? Thank you

Cheers
Pedro Nuno;-)
