This guy moves like a snail and only comes out at night. I've looked at various ID Snail threads all over can't find it. Any ideas? The black in the pic seems to be a part of him, the orange/brown ball it's ?body/shell?

From the photograph you sent its dificult to identify but maybe its Littorina littoria or Littorina obtusata also called Northern Yellow [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Periwinkle and given the color if i fact it is a Littorina snail, I'd venture for Littorina obtusata
Would you be so kind as to put some more photographs covering as many angles as possible as it might improve chances for id. Thank you
